Partnership Lead (Payments / Web2 / Web3)
About the Role
We are looking for a senior partnerships leader to build and scale INXY’s partner ecosystem across key Web2 and Web3 verticals. This role is for someone who knows how to turn partnership strategy into revenue, understands how industries actually operate, and can build win-win partner models that accelerate client acquisition, product adoption, and brand expansion.
You will drive strategic alliances across Affiliate Marketing, Payroll, Hosting, TravelTech, Gaming, and other Web2 industries, connecting them with the Web3 payments infrastructure through smart, scalable partnerships.
This is a high-impact leadership role reporting to the CRO.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build & scale a high-value partner ecosystem
- Identify, prioritize, and onboard partners across Web2 and Web3 that directly support revenue growth.
- Create structured partner programs (referrals, integrations, co-selling, co-marketing, value-added service partners).
- Design frameworks for partner tiers, incentives, and business models.
2. Develop partnerships based on how our clients actually work
- Understand client workflows, adjacent tools, operational bottlenecks and identify where partnerships multiply value.
- Map partner opportunities around client ecosystems (e.g., DSPs, hosting platforms, payroll/HR tech, PSPs, FX providers, exchanges, compliance tools).
- Build multi-party “triangle” value props (INXY + Partner + Merchant).
3. Lead strategic alliances with top players
- Negotiate and close partnerships with strong market players across fintech, payments, crypto, and complementary SaaS ecosystems.
- Build relationships with executives, product decision-makers, and founders.
- Bring creativity to complex cross-platform relationships (API, data, integration, joint value props).
4. Own partner-driven revenue motion
- Build co-selling and co-marketing motions.
- Develop predictable partner-generated pipeline and forecast partner impact.
- Introduce reporting for partner performance, revenue attribution, and ROI.
5. Drive integration–led partnerships
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to build and prioritize partner integrations (API, PayIn, PayOut, on/off-ramps, FX, swaps).
- Present business cases for integrations based on revenue potential and strategic value.
- Oversee launch, GTM, and adoption of partner-led integrations.
6. Expand INXY’s network across geographies and verticals
- Open doors to new markets through local/regional partners (EU, UK, LatAm, APAC, MENA).
- Drive ecosystem influence through industry events, associations, and thought leadership.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 6+ years in partnerships, business development, or ecosystem/GTM in Payments, SaaS, Web3, or Fintech.
- Proven track record of building revenue-generating partner programs (not just MOUs, but actual business impact).
- Understanding of Web2 vertical logic (Affiliate, Payroll, Hosting, Gaming, TravelTech) and how these companies operate, monetize, and choose vendors.
- Experience working with FinTech and Web3 products (wallets, stablecoins, custody, swaps, exchanges, blockchain networks).
- Strong ability to break down a partner’s business model and craft a joint value proposition rooted in real use-cases.
- Confidence in negotiations at leadership level (C-suite, founders, senior product leaders).
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Compliance, and Engineering.
Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience in payments infrastructure or merchant services.
- Knowledge of AML/KYC/KYB flows and compliance constraints.
- Previous work with PSPs, FX providers, stablecoin infrastructure, or crypto payment rails.
- Exposure to global partner ecosystems (EU, US, MENA, APAC).
What Success Looks Like
- 3–5 strategic partnerships signed in the first 6 months with measurable revenue impact.
- Predictable partner-generated pipeline and clear attribution model.
- A structured, documented partner ecosystem with tiers, value props, and onboarding flows.
- At least one integration-led partnership launched and generating usage.
- New vertical entry enabled via partners (e.g., TravelTech, Payroll, Gaming).
