Role Summary

We are looking for a Lead Project Manager to lead the Project Management Office and enforce delivery standards across product teams. Operating within a matrix structure, this role ensures consistent execution, rapid time-to-market, and full transparency for executive stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and expand the PMO function, managing a team of 10+ project managers
  • Establish performance standards, conduct evaluations, and provide structured feedback
  • Drive professional development through coaching, calibration, and career pathing
  • Own initiative intake, prioritization, and planning using RICE, WSJF, and related frameworks
  • Align the project portfolio with business strategy and manage cross-team dependencies
  • Implement quarterly and PI planning cycles, maintain a unified release calendar and RAID register
  • Enforce stage-gate governance across Discovery, Build, Launch, and Scale phases
  • Facilitate steering committees, quarterly business reviews, and change control processes
  • Define and monitor delivery metrics including DORA, Flow, On-Time, On-Budget, and Predictability
  • Ensure data integrity and executive visibility through structured reporting and dashboards
  • Standardize delivery artifacts including Charters, RAID logs, DoR/DoD, and postmortem templates
  • Drive automation and integration across Jira, Linear, Advanced Roadmaps, BigPicture, Tempo
  • Ensure linkage with GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and monitoring systems
  • Lead capacity planning and resource allocation across PMs and engineering teams
  • Manage CapEx/OpEx budgets, vendor relationships, and Statements of Work
  • Define and uphold PM competency models, onboarding programs, and knowledge-sharing practices
  • Promote continuous improvement and enforce delivery discipline across all project streams

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing teams of 10 or more professionals
  • Direct experience in FinTech or Blockchain/Crypto projects
  • Strong understanding of crypto-processing systems including payment gateways, wallets, AML/KYC
  • Demonstrated success in scaling Agile methodologies in high-growth environments
  • Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and stakeholder management capabilities
Nice to have:
  • Technical background in software development, QA, or DevOps
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PSM II, SAFe, or LeSS
  • Experience managing distributed and remote teams

Location and Work Model

This position is based in either Limassol, Cyprus or Warsaw, Poland. A hybrid work model is available, with regular in-office presence required for leadership and coordination purposes.
