Junior+ DevOps

Role Summary

INXY is looking for a motivated and proactive Junior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will support the maintenance and monitoring of our cloud infrastructure on AWS, assist with Kubernetes-based deployments, and help improve CI/CD and GitOps processes under the guidance of senior engineers.

What you’ll be doing

• Support and monitor AWS cloud infrastructure under the guidance of senior engineers
• Work with Kubernetes: deployments, service health checks, and basic troubleshooting
• Work with GitLab CI/CD pipelines — triggering pipelines, diagnosing failures, and making minor optimizations
• Support GitOps processes using ArgoCD: application synchronization and status monitoring
• Containerization: writing and improving Dockerfiles, building container images
• Monitoring: configuring dashboards in Grafana and responding to alerts
• Automating routine operations using Bash/Python scripts
• Maintaining infrastructure documentation and recording implemented change

What We’re Looking For

• Basic AWS knowledge: understanding of EC2, S3, VPC, IAM; ability to launch instances, configure buckets, and manage permissions
• Basic Kubernetes knowledge: understanding Pods, Deployments, Services; ability to read logs and describe resources using kubectl
• Docker: ability to build images, understanding of layers, and basic commands (build, run, push, pull)
• Linux: navigation, working with files, processes, and networking tools (netstat, curl, grep, awk)
• Bash scripting: ability to write simple automation scripts
• Git: basic workflow (clone, commit, push, merge requests)
• Basic networking knowledge: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, load balancing
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work with complex systems
