Accountant
Role Summary
INXY is seeking an experienced and results‑driven Accountant in Poland to join our growing Finance team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring statutory and management accounting, payroll, tax reporting, and annual reporting for our Polish entity. This is a high‑impact role for a professional with a deep understanding of Polish accounting standards, compliance requirements, and experience in fintech, crypto, or payments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the full cycle of statutory accounting and fiscal reporting for the Polish entity, ensuring full adherence to local requirements
- Process and analyze financial data, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all business transactions
- Calculate salaries, contractor payments, and ensure timely delivery of tax calculations, declarations (PIT, CIT, VAT), and ZUS contributions as required by Polish legislation
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and communicate directly with Polish state authorities when necessary
- Maintain management accounting and prepare internal financial reports for the leadership team
- Prepare, sign off, and submit the annual financial statements in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act (Ustawa o rachunkowości)
- Collaborate with accountants and financial specialists from other branches to consolidate data, reconcile intercompany transactions, and optimize accounting processes
What We’re Looking For
- Higher industry-specific education (Accounting, Finance, Economics). A certificate from the Polish Ministry of Finance or ACCA/CPA qualification is a strong advantage
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant in Poland; previous experience in fintech or IT is preferred
- General understanding of cryptocurrencies and the crypto industry is a strong advantage, but not mandatory
- Fluent in Polish and Russian (both written and spoken) for local compliance and team communication, plus English at an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher
- Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and experience in preparing financial statements; proficiency in local accounting software
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of information independently; responsibility, decision-making, and strategic thinking
Location and Work Model
Hybrid position, with a preference for candidates based in Warsaw (Poland).
